WHAT'S NEXT FOR JOHN LAYFIELD'S UPRISING??

After a disappointing SOUL SURVIVOR VII, it appears that JBL's Uprising is out for blood here in the Millennium Wrestling Federation in his on-going war with President John Cena Sr. Here's the latest on Layfield's crew:
Slyck Wagner Brown: SWB is fresh off a near two year reign as MWF Heavyweight Champion, fending off some of the top superstars in professional wrestling. After an eventful contract signing at the Boston Garden February 12th, "Mr. Money In The Bank" Shelton Benjamin was the man to finally win the gold at SOUL SURVIVOR VII. On June 4th, Shelton-Slyck 2 headlines MWF NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS at the Shehan Center in Bridgeport, CT in what should be an electric rematch. Will Slyck prove that SSVII was a fluke??
"Million Dollar Investment" Tommaso Ciampa: Ciampa has been a standout in the MWF since winning the MWF Television Title from ROH Champion "Die Hard" Eddie Edwards and TNA superstar AJ Styles in his debut back in the fall of 2007. He held onto the gold until NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS 2008, where he was bested by "Black Machismo" Jay Lethal in a lumberjack match. The Uprising brutally attacked "Straight Edge" Brian Fury and Scott Reed soon thereafter, and Ciampa was suspended until March 2009 when JBL used his financial resources to bring Tommaso back into the fold. His feud with Fury has been one of the greatest in MWF history but has yet to reclaim the championship. He had hopes of regaining it at SSVII but Ciampa wound up being banned from the event when he physically put his hands on President Cena. Now, he's focused on our CT debut.
Antonio Thomas - Thomas found success in his MWF debut fresh off his WWE run defeating Luke Robinson. Shortly after losing to MWF Heavyweight Champion "Slyck" Wagner Brown, he wound up joining The Uprising, teaming with J-Busta to win the MWF Tag Team Titles. Injuries have prevented him from reaching his full potential in the king of sports.
Sonny Yee 2000 - a graduate of Sonny Yee's Dojo in Osaka, Japan, Yee 2000 made his debut at SSVII replacing Ciampa in a losing effort to Brian Fury. Not much is known about the mysterious Japanese newcomer, but after the intense training from Master Yee, you can't rule out anything come June 4th.
Uprising Past - JBL has never, ever, been a man to make change when needed. Shortly after financially investing in the faction, Jason 'Rumble' and Jimmy Jact Ca$h were shown the door. Luke Robinson, now on WWE Tough Enough, was released for several unprofessional instances and canceling competing at live events. J-Busta is a multi time MWF Tag Team Champion, but was also tossed for not getting the job done as expected.
Uprising Future: Layfield only wants the best and elite representing The Uprising, period. Rumors have offers being made to numerous MWF superstars to join them. Who are they?? Todd Hanson?? Brian Fury?? Jay Lethal?? Eddie Edwards?? Luis Ortiz?? Is it a newcomer he feels he can groom young in their career like a Jay Freddie?? Matt Taven?? Tony Delfonzo?? Julian Starr??
Don't think Layfield hasn't been paying attention to the success that Paul Bearer's Trifecta of Terror has found in recent months, winning both the MWF Southern Heavyweight Championship and the MWF Tag Team Titles. With his almost unlimited financial resources, anything and everything should be expected!
