It's hard to believe it's been over three years since JBL first shook up the MWF with his Uprising announcement from Madison Square Garden Christmas weekend 2008 then coming to MWF Studios to pay John Cena Sr. a memorable visit. Now enjoying most of his time in Bermuda, the "retired" John Layfield is anything but, starting up his "Beyond Rugby Bermuda" foundation, which aids at-risk youth with food, athletic and educational programs. Upon hearing of John's efforts, Dan Mirade and the MWF Board of Directors decided that SOUL SURVIVOR VIII this Saturday, March 24th at Memorial Hall in Melrose, MA was the perfect place to raise awareness and some money for the cause, as we have three autographed WWE Diva photos for auction with 100% of the money going towards it!
In this half hour interview, JBL talks about his plans for Beyond Rugby Bermuda, life on the island, his own personal goals to help the kids at the same time, as well as his long time tag team partner and friend Ron Simmons induction into the WWE Hall of Fame later this month, thoughts on the Republican primaries and road stories.
