He is a Millennium Wrestling Federation original, competing at our first events in 2001, and now eleven years later, Little Guido makes his much anticipated return at our 11th anniversary BIG BANG BIRTHDAY BASH Saturday, September 22nd at Memorial Hall in Melrose, MA!
During his first MWF run, Guido was involved in wars with Road Dogg, Grandmaster Sexay and ECW alumni Nova (WWE's Simon Dean). Guido departed for a long tenure with WWE in 2002.
His career speaks for itself. He was with ECW from 1992-2001 when the original Extreme Championship Wrestling unfortunately shut it's doors. He became part of the cult favorite FBI (Full Blooded Italians), the most popular pairing being with Tracy Smothers with "The Big Don" Tommy Rich as their manager. Guido was a two-time ECW Tag Team Champion during his time in ECW.
In 2002, he debuted in WWE as Nunzio, forming a new FBI with Chuck Palumbo and Johnny Stambolli. The stable caused havoc prior to the Undertaker's match at WrestleMania XIX. When the trio went their separate ways, Nunzio found success in WWE's cruiserweight division, winning the WWE Cruiserweight Division on two occasions. In 2006, joined WWE's ECW brand as Little Guido, where he remained through August 2008 when he cut ties with WWE.
In 2010, he took part in TNA's Hardcore Justice "extreme reunion" PPV. He teamed with Tony Mamaluke & Tracy Smothers to defeat Kid Kash, Simon Diamond & Johnny Swinger. The ECW stars (known as EV 2.0 for legal reasons) continued to compete in ECW in the coming months. TNA used Guido as "Tony Broadway" in their successful Ra Ka King promotion in India earlier this year.
From late 2010-2011, Guido returned to WWE, surprisingly, as a referee! Visiting friends at a live event at Madison Square Garden, several referees couldn't get to MSG due to the blizzard and winds, which led to it becoming a full time gig for Guido through September 2011.
Little Guido is back fans!! On September 22nd, he'll be competing in the ring as well as the pre-event autograph / photo fanfest where you can meet the man in person! What does he have on his agenda in round two here in the Millennium Wrestling Federation? Does he have championship gold on his mind? There's only one way to find out - be there LIVE at Memorial Hall! Help the cause, spread the word to your friends and wrestling fans, get the word out on Twitter & Facebook - the more fans we have in Melrose, the more big events we can bring you like this. Circle the date on your calendar, you won't want to miss one of the biggest nights in MWF history! Excitement is building by the day.
