The Super Bowl may be the NFL's biggest game of the year, but a new twist has been thrown into the mix at  SOUL SURVIVOR IX:  Destined For Greatness Saturday, March 9th from Memorial Hall in Melrose, MA as we continue our mission to "Keep The Kids Off The Streets" with the Special Olympics, Make-A-Wish, Big Brothers and more featuring the superstars and legends of yesterday, today and tomorrow.

After a series of big announcements before the Royal Rumble last week, a Tweet announced the possibility of a 5th featured superstars to go along with the rest of the stars and activities going on that night.  After spending the rest of the week dealing with various issues with the Uprising and Trifecta of Terror factions, an angry EVP of Wrestling Operations Dan Mirade later promised a major announcement, that turning into wrestling & MMA superstar Bobby Lashley appearing in-ring and part of the pre-event autograph / photo meet & greet.

Lashley won three national college amateur wrestling championships before an injury derailed his training for the Olympics.  He was quickly signed by WWE and made his television debut in September 2005, soon competing at Survivor Series and the Royal Rumbe.  A feud with Finaly - who headlined last years SOUL SURVIVOR VIII - led him to WrestleMania XXII's Money In The Bank ladder match against Ric Flair, former MWF Champion Shelton Benjamin, Finlay, Matt Hardy and the eventual winner Rob Van Dam.  His initial success led him to the finals of the King Of The Ring tournament, losing in the finals to Booker T with the help of nemesis Finlay.  Lashley defeated the former owner of the MWF's Uprising faction JBL to win the WWE US Championship in Layfield's final night wrestling for almost two years due to a major back injury.

In late 2006, Lashley debuted in ECW becoming the last man to qualify for the Elimination Chamber.  On December 3rd, Lashley defeated Big Show, CM Punk, Rob Van Dam, Test & Hardcore Holly to win the ECW Championship at December To Dismember.  He was Donald Trump's choice to represent him at WrestleMania XXIII against Vince McMahon's Umaga in what was the biggest wrestling PPV's and money matches in the sports history.  Lashley defeated Umaga with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin as the guest referee in front of over 80,000 fans in Detroit, MI, and Bobby, Austin and Trump saved McMahon bald post-match.

Out for revenge, McMahon won the ECW Championship in a 3-on-1 handicapped match teaming with Shane McMahon and Umaga at Backlash 2007.  The following money, he pinned Shane in a rematch but did not regain the title as he needed to pin Vince.  At Extreme Rules, he finally won the title back defeating Vince in a singles match.  The following week the title was taken from him when he was drafted to Raw, going on to main event a battle of World Champions at Vengeance against champion John Cena, Mick Foley, Randy Orton and Booker T.  In a dream match, Lashley lost to John Cena at the Great American Bash before having surgery from an injury at Backlash.

After departing WWE, Lashley went onto compete for TNA, AAA in Mexico and New Japan Pro Wrestling.  Beginning in 2008, he went on to great fame in the world of Mixed Martial Arts, currently holding a 7-2 record while operating the American Top Team Altitude gym and a variety of kids charity work.

The Millennium Wrestling Federation is proud to have an athlete with the intensity, character and integrity of Bobby Lashley joining us at SOUL SURVIVOR IX along with MWF President Paul Bearer, X-Pac, Carlito and the celebration of the career of "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka!  VIP Packages are on-sale now -  don't settle for cheap immitations, be where the superstars are LIVE and make a difference!
