Tonight on the June MWF Xtra: The John Cena Sr. Show, WWE Hall of Famer "Superstar" Billy Graham joined President Cena and Dan Mirade via telephone from Phoenix, AZ as we prepare for NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS June 28th in Melrose, MA!
Graham has been mentoring and training Isis, who will compete in the first match in Cena's "Fabulous Women of Wrestling" history June 28th against TNA Knockouts ODB and as announced earlier in the day, former world champion Awesome Kong. Rumors were running wild around MWF Headquarters that John Bradshaw Layfield helped Kong enter the picture as part of his sponsorship deal for the event to try to disrupt what the president is attempting to do with his new womens division. June 28th will be Isis' debut, and Graham is worried that she will now have to compete against not only a top quality athlete like ODB, but Kong as well.
Billy went on to discuss his dedication to our fundraising efforts to help get Shiloh Pepin to a summer camp for disabled children this July. An on-line drive helped raise over $1,100 this spring, and we're hoping to make even bigger things happen in Melrose June 28th!
The WWE Hall of Famer went on to close the interview so upset by JBL's supposed plot that he has challenged Layfield to an in ring confrontation of some sort, to face him, make him beg for mercy and "kick him where it really hurts." And he didn't even hear what JBL said earlier in the night on ULTRA! Billy Graham hasn't had a wrestling match in over 22 years. . .does he really want a physical confrontation with Layfield?!?
