NOVEMBER 16TH:  a weekend that provided many memories, both good and bad.  The fly-in's began arriving Friday night.  All of the prep work was done.  The set-up at Memorial Hall was underway.  WWE was reaching out to us in an attempt to get the Iron Sheik from Boston to Monday Night Raw at Madison Square Garden.  A long, full day, to say the least. . .

Saturday began before it was bright but very early.  Terri Runnels sent a text message from the Sunshine state saying her car broke down en route to the airport, and she was likely going to have to rebook her flight, arriving in Boston around 4:10PM.  I wished Terri a safe trip and told her to bring a rain coat as it was pouring.

More superstars began flying in just after 10AM.  We thought Awesome Kong had gone MIA, only to learn that she had flown in on her own a few days earlier.  The stars were checked into their hotel, where more prep work was completed.  Arrived at the venue around 2PM, where the ring and video equipment was being set-up.  Life was good. . .

As we got closer to bell time, the line-up had to be shuffled around due to some "confusion" and another athlete with a real life issue - it happens.  The Q&A was a fun way for VIP's to interact with the stars, and Terri Runnels made it just in time for the end of the autograph session.

The crowd on hand was not what we were hoping for, but it was healthy by 2009 standards.  It was a hot crowd, taking in some great action along with prizes from the "Palladino Prize Patrol" (Ed McMahon, eat your heart out).  We were able to do some good for the Shiloh Pepin Foundation and the Memorial Hall Restoration Fund will also benefit from it.  It is always very stressful when you have to change around what you spend months preparing for, but our staff handled it great.  It was one of our smoother events in a way the fans don't see.  If you weren't there, are you crazy??  Nonetheless, check out MWF ULTRA in the coming weeks to see what you missed.  Big information on SOUL SURVIVOR VI will be forthcoming.

I was very impressed with the four athletes that President Cena brought in for the Fabulous Women of Wrestling.  Very interested to see fan reaction as time goes on.  There was a wild steel cage finale, great prizes given away, a good time was had by all. Oh yes, there was some insanity that, as the president loves to hear, is "a different story for a different time," but wrestling related, we got the job done with what we had to work with, and we sincerely hope the fans enjoyed themselves from start to finish.  Big changes are coming and we want you to come along for the ride.

After the event, we had a fantastic gathering with a mix of everyone - MWF stars, our featured superstars, support staff, commentators, it was a great time.  It continued on back to the hotel until the wee hours of the morning, with a hurting Dan Mirade arriving home just before 5:45AM.

Sunday began with a little more drama, with our support staff having apparent time issues with Terri Runnels.  That's all I am allowed to say at this point.  Believe you me, I would love - love - to present every fan a complete timeline of events, but I've been asked to keep my lips sealed for now, which is a request I will honor and respect at this point.  The Studio Shoot Interview DVD did not take place with hours of time wasted and fans disappointed.

MWF Heavyweight Champion "Slyck" Wagner Brown made his way to MWF Studios for an interview we'll soon see on MWF television.  The champs point of views are interesting, to say the least.

And last but not least, the one and only Sheiky Baby.  Any time we get a well behaved Sheik for the most part, it's a good time.  Instead of hanging around the hotel, he was at MWF Studios all day prior to his Studio Shoot Interview DVD taping which was another two hours of Sheik craziness that will be on-sale for the holidays.  We hope you'll check it out.  "Pain in the ass" Sheik surfaced as the taping ended, but alls well that ends well as we enjoyed another nice dinner and dropped the Sheik off as he prepares to return to the "mos' fay-mous arrrena in the vold" tonight for WWE.

Now it's time to recharge the batteries, get the TV's produced and close out what's been an amazing year!  Again, to each and every fan, thank you for your support. . .we can't do it without you. . .

*

NOVEMBER 15TH:  what  a memorable night / morning, arriving home at 5:45AM in severe physical pain and more mentally drained than you could possibly imagine.  On a couple of hours sleep, preparing for the Terri Runnels and Iron Sheik Studio Shoot Interview DVD tapings all day.  Many stories to come later tonight and as the week goes on.  Thank you very much to each and every fan that came out to support the event!

*

NOVEMBER 13TH: second update - tickets for all three events will be on-sale at the door Saturday and Sunday.  Online ticket purchasing is no longer available.

NOVEMBER 13TH:  today feels like the last day before an election, trying to get fan interest to "vote" tomorrow (i.e. buy a ticket).  This BLOG has been a small glimpse into all of the hard work that's gone into those triple header weekend, and believe me, it hasn't been an easy road to ROAD TO THE GOLD.  Linda Mirade came up with the idea of leaving an outgoing greeting on my cell phone a few months back explaining that the best way to reach me is via email (unless you're the Sheik).  As I write this, my voicemail is locked up with 30 messages, not even counting all the emails and texts waiting for me.  Still a lot of work to do today to get ready for a triple header weekend.  Rest will have to wait for Monday.  We sincerely hope you'll come out this weekend and support the great athletes that are going to give it 110% in the ring Saturday and at the studio Sunday. . .

And the "pause" button is hit again, as we think back to this date in 1999 when "Boston Bad Boy" Tony Rumble passed away.  I could go on for an hour about Tony, as I wonder if there'd even be an MWF if he was still alive.  How different would the landscape of New England be if he never left??  I hope he is proud of our work in trying to present a product his memory and legacy would be proud of. . .

*

NOVEMBER 12TH:  was awaken very early this morning by my vibrating cell phone  reading "Sheik Cell."  Straight to voicemail.  Upon awakening, Sheiky Baby and I had a great conversation, the legend is excited about returning to Boston this weekend and meeting with his fans.  The Sheik will be bringing an item from his personal collection to the event for the raffle for the Shiloh Pepin Foundation.  Say what you want about him, but he has a big heart.  Hopefully the Sheik will save one classic tirade for the DVD taping on Sunday and be "good Sheik" for the rest of his visit. . .that's when we have a great time.  TNA officials are happy to have their superstars be part of the event. . .some interesting possibilities on the table that will be publicly discussed next week.  Barring any last minute surprises, this weekend is shaping up to be the biggest we've ever had.  It's been a long road to get here (no pun intended), but I believe the payoff will be well worth the sacrifice.

*

NOVEMBER 11TH:  this may go down as the biggest week in MWF history in the ring as well as behind the scenes.  President Cena is like a mad man right now as it appears JBL is legally back in the loop with more news coming on that as soon as later in the day.  Cena announced that if any member of the Uprising enters the cage or makes physical contact during the "Slyck" Wagner Brown -vs- "Black Machismo" Jay Lethal match Saturday night that Slyck loses the title on the spot.  Wow.  We heard from Terri Runnels today, who is over in Germany.  Terri is showing her heart by donating an item from her personal collection to our raffle for the Shiloh Pepin Foundation Saturday.  The November MWF ULTRA television program is online and Pat Doyle promises more as the week goes on.  And for all you autograph lovers out there, check out the 8x10 photos we'll have available at the event Saturday night.  What a week, what an event!

*

NOVEMBER 8TH:  how could ROAD TO THE GOLD get any BIGGER?  Tonight, President Cena announced a battle of the big men as TNA superstar Abyss goes to war with Max Bauer of Ox Baker's evil Army!  Halloween ain't got nothing on this one!  Get your tickets today!  Can you believe a week from right now the event will be over?!?  A post event gathering, a few hours of sleep before two Studio Shoot Interview DVD tapings.  Excitement and exhaustion here, there and everywhere. . .

*

NOVEMBER 4TH:  what a way to kick off ROAD TO THE GOLD - opening match at 6PM will be "Hurricane" John Walters vs Scott Reed!

*

NOVEMBER 2ND:  last night was one of the longest nights ever at MWF Studios, editing the final three MWF TV's together along with two online video and a big time meeting about this coming November's event and a peak into 2010.  Sounds like the 12 days of Christmas.  The body wasn't' agreeing with the minds mission.  Mr. Cena authorized a new video from Dylan Kage to go online, where he talks about the destruction of Todd Hanson.  Over the weekend, I took a break from the non-stop pace we've been working lately to see Saw VI at the movie theater - it wasn't a true thrill like Paranormal Experience, but it lived up to it's name.  Anyway, not to bore you with my social life (or lack of until November 16th), but this morning I awoke from a dream where "Superstar" Billy Graham was some kind of spokesperson for a medical treatment center in Mexico.  Somehow the Iron Sheik got involved, and this "treatment center" tied the Sheik up and began to cut into him to sell his organs, all while he was fully awake screaming "Dan Maloney!  My boss!  Please!  No!"  The medical team began to spray some kind of a hose in the Sheik's face and took a saw to his stomach.  What's even crazier is that I could actually see something like this happening in the real world if the two could score a payday.  Hey, it's never a bad start to the day when you wake up laughing. . .

*

OCTOBER 31ST:  I hope this is a "trick" but word running around MWF headquarters this weekend is that former MWF Heavyweight and Tag Team Champion Todd Hanson will announce his retirement at ROAD TO THE GOLD November 14th.  Hanson has requested time to say farewell to the fans and fellow superstars in Melrose.  I have spoken with Todd and it is a difficult time, to say the least.  I do not see how President Cena could deny this request.  Todd was injured by the "MWF Stalker" (revealed later in the year as "Sudden Impact" Dylan Kage, guided by Paul Bearer) in March 2008 the night before our New Hampshire debut event.  He continued to compete through the end of the year until his body "tapped out."  I could go into it further, but Todd Hanson's story is his to tell.  He is a fine professional wrestler and an even better human being, I'm sure this organization can find a way to utilize his passion for the sport in some capacity.

*

OCTOBER 27TH:  very proud to announce that ROAD TO THE GOLD will benefit both the Shiloh Pepin Fund to help purchase playground equipment for handicapped children but will $1 from each ticket sold will also be donated to the Memorial Hall Restoration Fund, to ensure that this fantastic venue that housed live wrestling and pro boxing back in the 1930's will continue to operate at full capacity.  Full details on the event page.  Also, the MWF is opening up a Facebook page.  Welcome to 2009!

*

OCTOBER 26TH:  life continues to roll on even under stressful circumstances.  President Cena put together a well written tribute to Shiloh Pepin that's now available on-line.  Even though I got a lot of heat for missing a family obligation for it, tonight's Studio Shoot Interview taping with "Duke of Dorchester" Pete Doherty gets an A+ in my book.  The staff was buzzing that it was our best shoot effort to date.  A lot of chatter before and after the taping as Mr. Cena has a lot of big plans for the Millennium Wrestling Federation and more announcements are forthcoming.  Can you believe we're only 19 days away from our big triple header weekend??  What's sleep??

*

OCTOBER 24TH:  You always hate to get "that phone call."  I'm extremely sorry to report that Shiloh Pepin (known as "Mermaid Girl" from Discovery Channel and TLC documentaries as well as an appearance on Oprah last month) passed away earlier today at ten years of age.  Usually, October 23rd is a celebration of sorts for the "vets" of the late Tony Rumble's Century Wrestling Alliance - it was sixteen years ago today Tony ran his first live event.  Shiloh had taken ill earlier in the week.  We were looking forward to seeing the entire Pepin family on November 14th at ROAD TO THE GOLD.

The little girl and her family touched many lives here in the Millennium Wrestling Federation.  "Superstar" Billy Graham isn't on my personal favorites list right now, but the man did a lot of good for this little girl.  Earlier this year, Billy, myself, John Cena Sr. and Karl Lauer of the Cauliflower Alley Club worked together to raise funds for Shiloh to get to WrestleMania in Houston.  The Pepin's were unable to make it to the big event because they didn't have a credit card to reserve the room under.  Thinking on my feet, I remembered that the WWE Backlash PPV later in April was taking place in Providence, so I reserved a room at the Hilton under my name and Visa card.

Spending that Sunday in April with the Pepin's was a memorable experience.  After meeting up with the Pepin's at the hotel, we headed to the Dunkin Donuts Center with a camera crew from the Discovery Channel to meet with staff from WWE, who gave her an autographed womens championship belt signed by John Cena himself.  During the event itself, Shiloh's mother Leslie mentioned they were trying to figure out a way to get Shiloh into a summer camp for kids with special needs in July, which would be the first time she would ever be away from home.  Another light bulb went off in my head, and the next morning went to work turning our June 28th live event into a fundraiser to get Shiloh to camp.  My two part behind the scenes look at that event can be found on-line.  All in all, we raised over $1,800 for the family, and as the second Discovery Channel documentary that just started airing last week, Shiloh indeed made it to camp this summer.  "Sad" and "disappointed" are the two words that come to mind.  Sad for a family that worked so hard to keep their little girl alive when they were told she would only have days to live when she was born.  Disappointed in that they were the ultimate real life underdogs you wanted to see win.

Shiloh touched a lot of people in professional wrestling over the past eight months, and those that gave of themselves should be proud.  Billy Graham did everything he could to bring attention to Shiloh's cause.  John Cena Sr. did everything humanly possible to make our June event a success.  Karl Lauer of the CAC went above and beyond collecting donations.  WWE gave the Pepin's tickets to Backlash along with the autographed belt and items for us to raffle off at the fundraiser.  TNA Knockouts Awesome Kong, ODB and Roxxi. . . Spike Dudley. . .the Kat, and so many others in the MWF for giving of themselves back in June.

That Sunday afternoon will be remembered for a long, long time.  It's nice to be able to say that we raised money to help her get to camp, but even more so, you'd never forget the look on her face when she saw her father manager John Cena Sr. in his match against J-Busta.  Half the locker room wanted to get their picture taken with her and meet her.  She was indeed the true superstar that day. . .

After ten years of doctors appointments, surgeries and hospital stays, may you rest in peace. . .

*

OCTOBER 21ST:  myself and President Cena taped four different television commercials as part of an advertising blitz that begins on TNA Impact tomorrow night and will air on WWE & TNA television up until the big night November 14th along with a variety of programs on MTV.  A different animal than past TV commercial efforts, will be interesting to see the reaction to the new format.

*

OCTOBER 19TH:  another exciting and stressful night at MWF Studios.  A lot of different viewpoints as far as direction and best strategies short term and long term for the Millennium Wrestling Federation (and I guess you could add the Fabulous Women of Wrestling).  The TNA PPV was on in the background, the business side of President Cena was hoping for an Awesome Kong title win so she'd bring the gold to Melrose, but it wasn't in the stars tonight.  New edition of MWF TV on-line with some tremendous action and - gulp - a few minutes of "sports entertainment"??

*

OCTOBER 18TH:  I imagine that four weeks from this very moment (12:20AM) we'll be in the middle of our post-event celebration.  After a few hours of sleep, the TNA stars will be off to Orlando for a pay-per-view event, and Terri Runnels and The Iron Sheik will both be taping Studio Shoot Interview DVD's at MWF Studios.  It's going to be one hell of a weekend.  Get your tickets now!  And if you haven't made your plans to join us at our Boston Garden Memories DVD Shoot taping with "Duke of Dorchester" Pete Doherty next Sunday night, October 25th, get your memberships for that one, too.  It should be a fun look at three decades of wrestling at the legendary Garden.

*

OCTOBER 17TH:  can you believe we're just four weeks away from our ROAD TO THE GOLD mega event and fanfest November 14th??  Many sleepless nights and moments that will tie our stomachs in knots ahead, I'm sure. . .

*

OCTOBER 16TH:  look for MWF television commercials to hit the airways this Monday night on Raw as well as on episodes of TNA Impact and MTV over the next month.  Awaken by a telephone call that there's a control track issue on the master tape provided to the cable company.  After producing I don't know how many hundreds of hours of programming over the years we've never had that problem.  Just another job to add to the plate this Sunday night at MWF Studios, ughhh. . .

*

OCTOBER 11TH:  we've posted an exclusive video of Terri Runnels at her home in Florida talking about her big weekend with us November 14th and 15th.  She seems ready to become President Cena's executive assistant in the FWW, don't you think??

*

OCTOBER 10TH:  it would be nice for the world of wrestling to hit the "pause" button for a minute and remember BJ Race, wife of the legendary Harley Race.  I had the pleasure of meeting BJ several times at Cauliflower Alley Club reunions out in Las Vegas and she was a hand in making sure Harley made it to Boston back in August for our Studio Shoot Interview DVD taping.  Always a big help at our CAC reunions, she'll truly be missed.

*

OCTOBER 5TH:  another long, productive night at MWF Studios as we're now less than six weeks away from the big one. . .it's starting to creep up on us.  The lovely Terri Runnels called into MWF Xtra:  The John Cena Sr. Show talking up ROAD TO THE GOLDand Cena's Fabulous Women of Wrestling.  Her take on the state of present (and future) womens wrestling is interesting.  Two new episodes of MWF television should be on-line this week.  Pre-production work on our RTTG television commercials began.  Even some good will in the world of independent wrestling?  Say it ain't so!

*

SEPTEMBER 28TH:  happy 8th "official" birthday to the Millennium Wrestling Federation fans, superstars and staff.  Even though we officially opened for business in January 2001, our first live event BIG BANG! took place on this date in 2001 at Wonderland Greyhound Park in Revere, MA, drawing the largest crowds the venue had seen since ECW's heyday in the late 1990's.  MWF Heavyweight Champion "Slyck" Wagner Brown, MWF TV Champion "Straight Edge" Brian Fury and MWF Tag Team Champion Road Dogg were all with us on our debut. . .it's pretty cool that all of our current champions debuted with us in 2001 (fellow tag champ Beau Douglas debuted in December 2001).  As much as things change, sometimes they stay the same and feel like home.  Eight years later, the adventure continues.  Instead of ROAD TO THE GOLD, I feel WORN TO THE BONE.  This gig isn't an easy one the majority of the time, especially leading up to four big events over the course of three weeks.  When you throw in a real life crisis into the never ending work of making our events as exciting and compelling for our fans as humanly possible, it's a tough task.  It would be nice to see some leadership "step up" and ensure that this November 14th and 15th are our biggest successes to date.  With the publicity and advertising campaign ready to hit, we can do it, but we're only as strong as our weakest link.  Only seven weeks to go until a good nights sleep.  Venting?

*

SEPTEMBER 21ST:  long, stressful night at MWF Studios.  Extremely interesting board meeting with two big time matches signed for ROAD TO THE GOLD - MWF TV Champion "Straight Edge" Brian Fury -vs- "Million Dollar Investment" Tommaso Ciampa of JBL's Uprising, and "Hurricane" John Walters -vs- Scott Reed.  You can talk about all "the sizzle" you want with the superstars signed for this great event and all of the girls coming in for Cena's FWW, but these two matches are "the steak."  Two fantastic matches with four quality, hungry young athletes that will give you 110% night in and night out.

*

SEPTEMBER 20TH:  big night with an MWF Board of Directors meeting leading up to our mega weekend in November and tapings for MWF television - always an interesting night.  President Cena is looking to sign contracts for several matches.

*

SEPTEMBER 18TH:  it appears that Rick Fuller will not be in action November 14th - but the question remains why.  President Cena is acting unusually odd about this one.  Another curveball coming our way??

*

SEPTEMBER 15THWWE "Attitude Era" diva Terri Runnels and TNA superstar Abyss have been officially added to what's shaping up to be one huge night of action November 14th in Melrose.  Expect further information from President Cena as the week goes on!

*

SEPTEMBER 13TH:  an interesting afternoon at the Victorian Fair in Melrose.  I'm not big on a 7:30AM wake-up call on a Sunday (or anyday, for that matter), but it was nice to see some old friends and make some new ones.  MWF Television Champion "Straight Edge" Brian Fury posed with Melrosians for hours with his championship belt as he prepares for the unknown November 14th.  Commissioner Von Johnson roamed the streets with a security guard going booth to booth.  An "interesting" announcement could come tonight on top of everything else we're working on.  Also, a new Inside The MWF column coming later tonight.

*

SEPTEMBER 11TH:  VIP ticket holders will have a first of it's kind opportunity November 14th - creative is working overtime on this one - should make for a really cool experience.  Hoping tickets will be on-sale this week, get ready for more announcements!

*

SEPTEMBER 8TH:  what a way to spend the holiday - coming close to finalizing not one but two major deals for ROAD TO THE GOLD?!  And possibly a third event that weekend?!  Should be an interesting week. . .

*

SEPTEMBER 6TH:  it appears that Paul Bearer officially turned down President Cena's request that he appear live in Melrose to join his "stalker" Dylan Kage when he confronts The Iron Sheik.  Will this sick individual ever make his way back to Boston?

*

SEPTEMBER 4TH:  some bad news to report, as ex-WWE superstar Antonio Thomas is out of action after suffering a serious injury that will likely keep him out of action November 14th.  Our best to Antonio for a speedy recovery and his return to the squared circle in perfect health sooner than later.

*

SEPTEMBER 2ND:  meet MWF Television Champion "Straight Edge" Brian Fury, Commissioner Von Johnson and others at the 29th Annual Victorian Fair on Sunday, September 13th at 12PM, Main St. Melrose, MA (just a block away from Memorial Hall, the home of ROAD TO THE GOLD).  Free autographs and photos with the champ and his 15 pounds of gold!

*

AUGUST 26TH:  it's frustrating when negotiations don't go as quickly as you'd like.

*

AUGUST 22ND:  former WWE Womens Champion debuting at ROAD TO THE GOLD November 14th??  Perhaps, if the president's current negotiations are successful.  This could really be a big, interactive weekend for both the fans and our athletes if everything goes according to plan.

*

AUGUST 20TH:  President Cena reaching out to some big time talent for November 14th as we speak, including one of the top talents in the sport right now.  My "spies" in and out of the office also tell me that he's interested in bringing in a guest hostess of some kind for the FWW matches that take place November 14th.

*

AUGUST 19THit's official - President Cena has signed the debuting Nikki Valentine to take on TNA Knockout Awesome Kong November 14th in Melrose.  I'm unfamiliar with Ms. Valentine, but Cena feels she's a quality talent.  Kong's rep speaks for itself, one of the most dangerous female athletes in the world.  The president hints at more Fabulous Women of Wrestling announcements - who (or what) is next??

*

AUGUST 17TH:  sorry for the delay in updates - more drama over the "Superstar" Billy Graham situation.  FWW announcement coming within the next couple of days, if not the next few hours.

*

AUGUST 13TH:  had a chance to speak with former MWF Heavyweight & Tag Team Champion Todd Hanson, who was forced to vacate the gold at NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS due to lingering injuries suffered at the hands of the "MWF Stalker" Dylan Kage.  At this time, it doesn't look Hanson will be healthy enough to compete November 14th even though his blood is boiling knowing that Kage will be in Melrose after everything he's been through over the past year and a half.

*

AUGUST 10TH:  President Cena went without sleep this weekend as he gears up for a week of a Fabulous Women of Wrestling explosion, along with two huge announcements.  At RTTG November 14th, the legendary Iron Sheik will confront "MWF Stalker" Dylan Kage in-ring.  The Sheik was victim of two of Kage's attacks and this will be the Sheik's first chance to confront this sick SOB face-to-face.  The following night, The Sheik will tape "The Madness Behind The Mania:  The Iron Sheik Studio Shoot Interview III" in an interview he requested - it could be the craziest Sheik interview of all time, and the first solo shoot Sheik has ever been done with a live studio audience.  Best of all, one lucky fan and their guest will get to have lunch with the Sheik prior to the taping!  This is shaping up to be one of the biggest weekends in MWF history!

*

AUGUST 9TH:  not really RTTG news, but the legendary Hall of Famer Harley Race is indeed in Boston, landing just after 8PM.  "The King" will be well rested for his Studio Shoot Interview tomorrow and we hope you're planning on being a part of it.

*

AUGUST 8TH:  oh yes, it's official!  MWF ROAD TO THE GOLD is going to turn into a full weekend celebration both November 14th and 15th.  Complete details to come over the next few days after we have a chance to take a deep breath after our efforts for Harley Race Night.

*

AUGUST 7TH:  with Jay Lethal set to challenge for "Slyck" Wagner Brown's MWF Heavyweight Championship, lots of athletes pushing themselves to get a crack at "Straight Edge" Brian Fury's MWF Television Championship.  In addition to our own top superstars, several nationally known names have been in touch with President Cena for a shot at the gold.  Does a TNA or WWE star deserve to springboard over the MWF's homegrown talent that have battled for championship opportunities??  Some interesting scenerios could take place between now and November. . .

*

AUGUST 6TH:  playing the "general manager" role at times can be a difficult challenge.  We were hoping that MWF Tag Team Champion Road Dogg BG James would be returning to the MWF November 14th to defend the titles.  Due to our event falling on the eve of a TNA pay-per-view event, he will be unable to appear as much as he wanted to be there to see the fans and put the gold on the line.  I'm sure we'll be seeing this MWF original sooner than later.

One thing that really gets under my skin are the self proclaimed "superstars" that price themselves out of the market.  We certainly encountered that for this event.  It really bothers me when these "stars" attempt to negotiate an amount far greater than what they were making on the national level.  I've been around this sport for 16 years, I didn't wake up last night.  Funny thing is, these are the same people that will be begging for work sooner than later as the amount of available ex-major league talent grows and grows and grows.  I like dealing with the "stars" that put the fans first, and that wasn't the case in this exchange.

Onto a couple of positve notes. . .we've come to terms with an athlete that's really going to make an impact in John Cena Sr.'s Fabulous Women of Wrestling division.  President Cena is determined to provide a quality platform for these female athletes to excel on, and the adventure truly begins November 14th.  Expect the official announcement coming shortly after Harley Race Night this Sunday, August 9th. . .

If that wasn't enough, we're expecting this to be a weekend -  not just a night - to remember.  A few ideas have been tossed around, but we really think it will be a fun couple of days and nights for die hard professional wrestling fans in the area.  Only a few MWF insiders are in on it, but we're hard at work to make this a good one. . .

*

AUGUST 5TH:  four years ago at this very moment, myself, Commissioner Von Johnson and the legendary WWE Hall of Famer The Iron Sheik were blown up by a worthless drunk driver en route to Boston after a live MWF event in Blackstone, MA.  Tonight, we begin an in-depth, behind the scenes BLOG for MWF ROAD TO THE GOLD November 14th back in Melrose at Memorial Hall.  I don't "tweet," I don't "twit," I don't understand the purpose of Facebook, but this will be interesting as months become weeks become days. . .

The main event has been one of the biggest matches in the history of the Millennium Wrestling Federation as "Slyck" Wagner Brown of The Uprising defends the MWF Heavyweight Championship for the first time against TNA superstar "Black Machismo" Jay Lethal inside a 15 foot high steel cage to make sure there isn't any outside interference.  That, fans, is going to be a happening. . .

The $50,000 LayfieldEnergy.com Tournament slated for this event will not take place due to President Cena's legal war with JBL at this time.  Made for Court TV??
